The Senior Resident for the Alternative Investments Fellowship Program (AIFP) serves as a hands-on industry expert and program leader. This role is responsible for strengthening the coaching, mentoring, and curriculum model for participants pursuing careers in Private Equity and the broader Alternative Investments space. You will act as a trusted advisor to program staff and a strategic contributor to program design.
What you'll do#
- Serve as a trusted and strategic partner to the Associate Director.
- Advise on the development and maintenance of curriculum materials for private equity recruiting, including case studies and student-facing resources.
- Mentor and coach AIFP fellows to foster professional growth, industry acumen, and technical finance skills.
- Support the selection of AIFP fellows, including candidate screening and conducting interviews.
- Participate in performance reporting and track overall program metrics, including offer conversion rates and participant engagement.
- Monitor the recruiting landscape for emerging trends to inform program strategy and curriculum development.
- Identify interview-ready candidates for open analyst and associate roles at partner firms.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 6+ years of professional experience, including a minimum of 2 years in Investment Banking.
- A minimum of 4 years of Private Equity or buyside experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present in public and engage with diverse audiences.
- CFA, CAIA, or other relevant professional certifications are a plus.

- Location: New York, New York.
- Work Modality: Hybrid (3 days per week in the office).
- Employment Type: Full-time.
- Compensation: $94,000 - $110,600.
