About the role#
IT Risk Assurance Interns work with project teams within the Governance, Risk and Compliance department. You will gain exposure to control auditing, control design evaluation, and the structure of Assurance Reports. The program covers common information security auditing frameworks and standards, including SOC 1, SOC 2, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the planning of audits.
- Test the design and operating effectiveness of client IT management systems and controls.
- Develop technical and professional skills through hands-on experience.
- Participate in firmwide events.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student in Computer Science or Business Administration.
- Interest in pursuing a career in information security, regulatory compliance, control auditing, or data governance.
Location & details#
- This is a remote, full-time internship for Summer 2027.
- The program lasts eight weeks.
- Interns participate in an on-site week at the San Jose headquarters for training and networking.
- This is a paid position.
