About the role#
SeamonWhiteside is hiring a Civil Engineering Intern for our Asheville office for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site, paid internship.
What you'll do#
You will work on land development projects and support our engineering team. Your daily tasks include:
- Using AutoCAD Civil 3D to assist with project development.
- Supporting the design of grading, drainage, stormwater management, roadways, and utility systems.
- Preparing engineering plans and handling project redlines or revisions.
- Helping assemble permit and submittal packages for clients and agencies.
- Joining the Construction Administration team on site visits.
- Attending project meetings and working alongside project managers.
What you'll need#
- You must have completed your sophomore year by Summer 2027.
- You are currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
