About the role#
SeamonWhiteside is hiring two Civil Engineering Interns for our Columbia office during the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site, paid internship. You will work alongside our engineering staff and project managers to support land development projects.
What you'll do#
- Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to assist with land development projects.
- Support the design of grading, stormwater management, drainage, roadways, and utility systems.
- Prepare engineering plans and handle project redlines and revisions.
- Assist with the creation of permit and submittal packages for clients and agencies.
- Join the Construction Administration team for site visits.
- Attend project meetings and collaborate with the broader engineering team.
What you'll need#
- You must have completed your sophomore year by Summer 2027.
- You must have a declared major in Civil Engineering or a related field.
