About the role#
SeamonWhiteside is hiring two Civil Engineering Interns for our Charlotte, NC office for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship. We do not provide sponsorship for this position.
What you'll do#
- Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to assist with land development projects.
- Support the design of grading, stormwater management, drainage, utility systems, and roadways.
- Create engineering plans and manage project redlines and revisions.
- Help prepare permit and submittal packages for clients and agencies.
- Join the Construction Administration team for site visits.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineering staff during project meetings.
What you'll need#
- You must have completed your sophomore year by Summer 2027.
- You must be a declared major in Civil Engineering or a related field.
