About the role#
This internship program provides undergraduate students with an introduction to investment banking, including debt and equity financing, mergers and acquisitions, and financial advisory services. Interns will gain exposure to capital markets, corporate banking, and equity research through a structured learning program. This is a full-time, paid position based in Montreal for the Winter 2027 term (January to April).
What you'll do#
- Evaluate and analyze the financial needs of corporate clients.
- Perform financial analysis, including building valuation models and pro forma financial statements.
- Prepare marketing documents, prospectuses, and client presentations.
- Extract data from capital market databases to support financial analysis.
- Utilize knowledge of capital markets to assist clients in achieving their financial goals.
- Participate in the execution of projects and collaborate with senior team members.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in commerce, science, technology, engineering, economics, or mathematics.
- Strong quantitative skills in financial analysis, accounting, and financial theory.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high work quality.
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and a strong aptitude for teamwork.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new situations and a strong desire to learn.
