About the role#
This Investment Banking Internship/Co-op provides undergraduate students with exposure to the investment banking industry, focusing on debt and equity financings, mergers and acquisitions, financial advisory, and business development. Analysts will participate in various workstreams and projects, supporting senior team members while gaining experience in capital markets and financial engineering.
What you'll do#
- Evaluate and analyze the financial needs of corporate clients.
- Develop financial models, pro-forma financial statements, and conduct comparable company analysis.
- Source data required to perform financial analysis and research.
- Draft prospectuses and marketing materials for transactions.
- Prepare and deliver client presentations.
- Support client pitch and project execution efforts.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Business, Science, Technology, Engineering, Economics, or Mathematics.
- Strong quantitative skills with a focus on financial analysis, accounting, and financial theory.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to new situations.
- Strong work ethic and professional standards, with the willingness to work extended hours as required to meet deadlines.
