About the role#
This 8-month Business Intelligence Internship/Co-Op position runs from September 2026 to April 2027. You will work within the Velocity program, which focuses on professional development, coaching, and exposure to various areas of the organization. This is a full-time, paid position based on a 37.5-hour work week.
What you'll do#
- Identify and analyze business and technical requirements to create documentation, diagrams, and flow charts.
- Perform data cleaning, reconciliation, and validation checks between source files and consolidated outputs.
- Build and troubleshoot DAX measures and Power Query transformations.
- Interpret large datasets to provide actionable recommendations.
- Implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program, with a focus on areas such as Data Science, Computer Science, Business Administration, Statistics, or Mathematics.
- Experience with data analysis, including the use of Excel and PowerPoint for data presentation.
- Experience with Power BI, specifically Power Query and DAX.
- Demonstrated involvement in extracurricular activities like clubs, conferences, or hackathons.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to meet deliverables.
