About the role#
This Co-Op role focuses on continuous improvement within our manufacturing environment. You will work on real projects that impact our production goals and help us refine our processes. You will gain experience in data analysis, project management, and team leadership while working alongside our Operations teams.
What you'll do#
- Influence teams and individuals to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Collect, analyze, and report on operational data to identify performance gaps.
- Support the use of DMAIC methodology on continuous improvement projects.
- Participate in problem-solving efforts to address production delays, equipment malfunctions, and material shortages.
- Collaborate with Operations to develop and implement solutions that improve current processes.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an associate or bachelor degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Completion of your sophomore year before the start of the Co-Op.
- A solid understanding of manufacturing fundamentals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- A valid driver license, vehicle insurance, and a personal vehicle.
