About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to gain practical experience and contribute to projects at Salas O'Brien. You will work alongside experienced engineers and specialists to broaden your skills and learn the fundamentals of plumbing design engineering.
What you'll do#
- Learn the basic principles of plumbing design engineering.
- Collaborate with experienced engineers and specialists.
- Gain exposure to various project types and markets.
- Follow the full lifecycle of a construction project from design through construction.
- Enhance your proficiency with industry-standard software.
What you'll need#
- You are actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Architectural, or a related Engineering field.
- A focus on plumbing system design and a desire to learn and contribute to meaningful projects.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Familiarity or proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit.
- An understanding of engineering analysis tools is beneficial.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and tasks.
- Readiness to perform duties onsite or at project locations as needed.
