About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027. You will work on-site in either Washington, DC or Boulder, CO. You will gain practical experience in technology engineering and design by working alongside our project teams.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the design, development, and implementation of technology solutions for clients.
- Create detailed technical drawings, schematics, and design plans.
- Participate in design reviews to learn the full project lifecycle.
- Perform data analysis and help troubleshoot design-related issues.
- Research emerging technology trends and best practices.
- Join site visits to assist with installation coordination and quality checks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Interest in Audio/Video, Lighting Design, Cabling Infrastructure, and Security Systems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Adaptability to shifting priorities and tasks.
- Readiness to work on-site.
- Proficiency in CAD software like AutoCAD or Revit is preferred.
- Familiarity with design and infrastructure tools is an asset.
- Previous internship or co-op experience in a related field is a plus.
