26-27 Senior Student Office Assistant - Global Education

About the role#

The Global Education office is seeking a Senior Student Office Assistant for the 2026-2027 academic year. This position supports the department in promoting study abroad opportunities, managing office operations, and assisting with event coordination. This is a paid, on-site role based in Notre Dame, Indiana, beginning in Summer 2026.

What you'll do#

• Promote global education opportunities to students and prospective students through presentations and events, including Student Preview Days.
• Welcome students, staff, and guests to the Global Education Suite and direct them to the appropriate resources.
• Assist staff in developing promotional materials, including flyers, brochures, advertisements, presentations, and web content.
• Support the management of Global Education social media accounts.
• Co-plan and implement events such as the study abroad fair, including preparation, setup, and cleanup.
• Perform data entry and administrative tasks using Google Suite and Microsoft Office.

What you'll need#

• Current Junior or Senior status at Saint Mary’s College.
• Previous study abroad experience.
• Advanced design skills, specifically using Canva and marketing tools for events.
• Strong proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe software.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• A motivated, self-starting approach to tasks.
• Preferred majors include Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or Public Health.
