About the role#
This is an 8-month internship position based in Toronto, running from January 2027 to August 2027. You will join the team as a Portfolio & Market Intelligence Analyst Intern, supporting efforts to identify and assist transformative companies within the financial services sector.
What you'll do#
- Support investment operations by collaborating with business, investment, and engineering teams to identify pain points and research solutions.
- Collect, organize, and analyze data from portfolio companies to monitor fund performance.
- Assist in research and presentation tasks, including data visualization and the creation of slide decks.
- Provide ad-hoc analytical and strategic support to senior management as required.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program, preferably in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Economics.
- A strong academic record.
- A demonstrated passion or interest in financial services and technology.
- Proficiency in data manipulation and strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to synthesize complex information into concise written and oral communications.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Must be authorized to work in Canada.
