About the role#
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Engineering Intern to join our team. This position offers hands-on experience in building and maintaining data pipelines, supporting AI and ML initiatives, and working with large-scale data platforms. You will work in an agile environment alongside senior data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to turn business requirements into technical data solutions.
What you'll do#
- Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL and ELT pipelines.
- Cleanse, structure, and prepare data pipelines for AI and ML use cases.
- Assist in developing and maintaining enterprise data models.
- Monitor, profile, and optimize data pipeline execution times, SQL queries, and storage patterns.
- Implement automated data quality checks and schema validation while monitoring for data drift.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or Computer Engineering.
- A strong interest in data, analytics, and emerging AI technologies.
- Eagerness to learn in a collaborative environment.

- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- The role is based on-site in Milpitas, California.
