About the role#
Rysun Labs is hiring a Full-stack Developer intern for our team in Tampa, Florida. This is a full-time, on-site role that combines application support, backend development, troubleshooting, and client engagement. You will manage business-critical applications while contributing to new enhancements and software improvements. This position is designed for an early-career engineer who wants to gain experience across the full software development lifecycle.
What you'll do#
- Provide technical support for applications in UAT and production environments.
- Investigate and resolve incidents, defects, and service requests.
- Perform root-cause analysis and implement permanent fixes for issues across .NET applications, APIs, and databases.
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using C# and .NET Core.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Write and troubleshoot complex SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and views.
- Collaborate with senior engineers, QA, and DevOps teams on code reviews and production releases.
- Work directly with clients to translate business needs into technical requirements and user stories.
- Communicate technical issues and solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Maintain technical documentation and knowledge-based articles.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-4 years of professional experience in software development or application support.
- Proficiency in C#.NET / .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, and Web APIs.
- Strong SQL skills, including experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming, Entity Framework, and LINQ.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD practices, and cloud environments.
- Experience troubleshooting production applications and APIs.
- At least one recognized cloud certification (such as Azure Fundamentals, AWS Cloud Practitioner, or higher).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
