About the role#
As a Sourcing Intern at Rust Belt Recruiting, you will support our recruitment operations and candidate pipeline initiatives. This role provides hands-on experience in talent acquisition, sourcing, and pipeline management. You will report to the Director of Business Planning and gain exposure to various facets of our business operations.
What you'll do#
- Identify and source candidates for open manufacturing roles using job boards, LinkedIn, and internal databases.
- Build and maintain talent pools for critical manufacturing positions.
- Conduct data auditing and cleanup to keep database records, contact details, and resumes accurate.
- Support candidate marketing initiatives, such as email outreach campaigns and promoting roles on digital platforms.
- Shadow recruiters through the full lifecycle to learn hiring strategies.
- Sit in on intake calls to understand client needs and position requirements.
- Observe candidate phone screens to learn assessment techniques.
- Write detailed candidate summaries and profiles for client presentation.
- Manage candidate records, resume uploads, and workflow stages in the ATS.
- Assist with candidate outreach, scheduling, and general administrative tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a business, marketing, or related program.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive, solution-oriented, and independent approach to work.
- Experience with Google Suite and CRM or ATS systems is preferred.
- Ability to work well as part of an energetic team.

- This role is based in Rocky River, Ohio.
- The position operates on a hybrid schedule.
- This is a paid, full-time internship with a rolling start date.
- We do not offer sponsorship for this position.
