About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to support technical training initiatives within a manufacturing environment. You will work on-site in Longueuil, Quebec, from January 5 to April 23, 2027. This is a full-time position requiring presence at our facility from Monday to Friday with flexible hours.
What you'll do#
- Support the integration of the CORE continuous improvement system into training-related business processes.
- Assist in managing factory employee competencies using the Poka digital platform.
- Participate in a multidisciplinary team to develop new technical skills.
- Help improve business processes related to work organization.
- Collaborate with managers and the factory workforce to continue the deployment of the Poka platform.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Canadian university in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Eligibility to work in Canada and the ability to work on-site in Quebec.
- Working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings, and technical terms.
- Ability to communicate in English with customers, suppliers, and international colleagues.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check and relevant clearances for handling controlled goods.
