About the role#
This is an 8-month internship position based in Toronto. You will join our International Tax Transfer Pricing team for the Winter 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid opportunity that follows a hybrid work model. You will work with diverse clients and team members to support tax and regulatory compliance.
What you'll do#
- Manage client engagements from start to finish, including planning, execution, and project completion.
- Work alongside associates and managers on tax and transfer pricing projects.
- Conduct detailed economic, financial, and accounting analyses.
- Evaluate intercompany transfers of tangible goods, intangible property, services, and loans.
- Perform industry and market research, economic valuations, and comparative financial benchmarking.
- Prepare and analyze financial data for tax and regulatory compliance.
- Review and analyze GAAP financial statements.
- Interact with client personnel to gather necessary information.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate program at an accredited university.
- A major in business, accounting, finance, economics, or business management.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred.
- Knowledge of financial statement analysis, valuations, quantitative analysis, industry analysis, and statistical sampling or econometrics.
- Strong analytical, research, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on MS Excel.
- Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple assignments.
- Flexibility to work additional hours and travel to client sites as needed.
- Foreign language skills are considered an asset.
