About the role#
As an Assurance Intern for Winter 2028, you will gain hands-on experience in public accounting. You will work with our audit teams to support middle market clients, learning our specific audit approach and software tools. This is a full-time, paid internship based in Atlanta.
What you'll do#
- Learn about client businesses, their industries, and their accounting systems.
- Assess risks and evaluate internal control structures for clients.
- Perform substantive tests and tests of internal controls to resolve accounting or reporting issues.
- Draft financial statements using prescribed formats.
- Develop a working knowledge of the RSM audit approach.
What you'll need#
- You are an Accounting major working toward a B.A. or B.S. degree.
- You have completed at least 90 credit hours.
- You have reliable transportation to travel to assigned client locations.
- We do not provide visa sponsorship for this role.
