About the role#
RoviSys is hiring an Engineering Co-op for the Summer 2027 term. This position is based on-site in Holly Springs, North Carolina. You will work alongside experienced engineers and developers to build automation and electrical control systems for various manufacturing clients.
What you'll do#
- Design and develop automation and electrical control systems that interface with manufacturing equipment and sensors.
- Architect solutions using a range of technologies from databases and AI to user interface tools.
- Write quality code that follows established company and client standards.
- Travel to customer sites for planning meetings, system commissioning, and testing.
- Design and implement software applications to aggregate manufacturing system information and generate reports.
- Configure technical solutions and identify optimization opportunities through scripting.
- Install and commission systems connected to plant floor devices.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student in a Bachelor's program for Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
