About the role#
RoviSys hires engineering students for a Summer 2027 co-op program in Carlsbad, California. You will work alongside experienced engineers to build automation and control systems. This role involves hands-on project work, including travel to customer sites for planning, commissioning, and system testing.
What you'll do#
- Design and develop automation and electrical control systems that interface with manufacturing equipment, process lines, and sensors.
- Architect technical solutions ranging from databases and AI to user interface tools.
- Write code that meets RoviSys and client quality standards.
- Travel to client sites to attend planning meetings, commission systems, and perform testing.
- Collaborate with internal teams, partners, and clients to deliver integrated solutions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's program for Computer, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or Cybersecurity.
- Full-time student status with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- A focus on problem-solving and developing technical solutions.
- Authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, on-site co-op position based in Carlsbad, California.
- The role is paid at $24 per hour.
- Travel incentives and per-diem packages are provided for field assignments.
