About the role#
RoviSys is hiring an Engineering Co-op for the Summer 2027 term. This position is based on-site in Houston, Texas. You will work alongside experienced engineers and developers to design and build automation and electrical control systems. This is a paid, full-time opportunity.
What you'll do#
- Design and develop automation and electrical control systems that interface with manufacturing equipment, process lines, and sensors.
- Architect solutions using a variety of technologies, ranging from databases and AI tools to User Interfaces.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, partners, and clients to deliver project goals.
- Travel to customer sites to participate in planning meetings, commission systems, and perform testing.
- Install and commission systems connected to plant floor devices at customer locations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s program for a technical field, such as Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Control Systems.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- A focus on problem solving and developing technical solutions.
- Authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
