About the role#
This is an 8-week internship program for Summer 2027 based in Oklahoma City. You will work with the Central Oklahoma Lending and Credit teams to observe and review financial reports to determine risks associated with extending credit. You will work alongside lenders, portfolio managers, and management to monitor the existing loan portfolio and support new client development.
What you'll do#
- Spread and analyze commercial financial statements for prospective and existing customers.
- Assist with financial analysis and underwriting, including preparing charts and narratives for sources and uses, capitalization, historical and projected statements, stress testing, and collateral valuation.
- Conduct diligence on business descriptions, industry trends, and general credit risk factors.
- Review loan request packages, including loan structuring, guarantor analysis, and Global Debt Service Coverage calculations.
- Obtain and analyze materials to evaluate collateral value.
- Participate in department rotations and shadowing opportunities.
- Complete a final summer project centered on a loan presentation.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word.
- Ability to manage multiple transactions and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret financial information and identify risks.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
Location & details#
- Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (40 hours per week).
- Modality: On-site.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
