About the role#
This is an 8-week summer internship program based in Oklahoma City. You will work with the Central Oklahoma Lending and Credit teams to observe and review financial reports. The goal is to determine risks involved in extending credit. You will work alongside lenders and portfolio managers to monitor the existing loan portfolio and assist with new client development.
What you'll do#
- Spread and analyze commercial financial statements for new and existing customers.
- Help perform financial analysis and underwriting for loan packages.
- Prepare charts and narratives regarding sources and uses, capitalization, financial covenants, stress testing, and collateral valuation.
- Assist with due diligence on prospective clients, including industry and market analysis.
- Review loan request packages, including collateral and guarantor analysis.
- Rotate through various departments and shadow team members.
- Complete a final project focused on a loan presentation.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word.
- Ability to manage multiple transactions at once and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and identify risks.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.

- Location: Oklahoma City, OK (NW Expressway banking center).
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Note: Applicants must be based in the OKC metro area. Housing and relocation costs are not covered.
