About the role#
This is a paid, full-time Therapist Internship for Summer 2027. You will work in an on-site capacity, supporting patients across various settings including inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. You will develop, coordinate, and facilitate direct social services for patients and their families under the direction of your manager.
What you'll do#
- Provide social services to patients, their families, and significant others.
- Complete all clinical documentation and discharge paperwork within required timeframes.
- Provide leadership and guidance when implementing clinical interventions.
- Work within an interdisciplinary team to maintain effective communication.
- Participate in site committees and contribute to the safety of patients and the facility.
What you'll need#
- A completed Bachelor's degree and current enrollment in a Master's degree program for Social Work or Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
- A working knowledge of human growth, behavior, and therapeutic techniques for all age groups.
- Successful completion of all Rogers onboarding training prior to your start date.
- Ability to complete formal training in the management of aggressive patients (NCI) within sixty days of placement.
- Ability to pass pre-placement background checks and obtain occupational health clearance.

This internship is on-site and available at multiple locations, including Oconomowoc, West Allis, Brown Deer, Sheboygan, Kenosha, Madison, and Appleton, Wisconsin. Other locations include Hinsdale and Skokie, Illinois; Eden Prairie and Woodbury, Minnesota; Miami and Tampa, Florida; Englewood, Colorado; Nashville, Tennessee; and Atlanta, Georgia.
