About the role#
The Technical Sales & Consulting Internship is a 12-week paid program designed to build your sales, technical, and professional skills. You will work with manufacturing customers to improve their productivity using our solutions. Interns are placed in one of our field sales offices and participate in one of three tracks: Business Development Representative, Account Manager, or Technology Consultant. You will receive a mix of in-person, online, and on-the-job training.
What you'll do#
- Develop and qualify new sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams to build targeted strategies and messaging.
- Implement sales plans to meet goals and grow market share.
- Communicate the benefits of our technology portfolio to customers.
- Engage with customers through face-to-face meetings, phone calls, and remote digital sessions.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor's or advanced degree program at an accredited college or university.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Expected graduation date of December 2027 or beyond.
- Full-time enrollment for at least one semester following the internship.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (sponsorship is not provided).
- Preferred majors include Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.
Location & details#
- This is a hybrid role. Employees are expected to work from a Rockwell Automation location on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
- Positions are available in various cities across the United States, including Milwaukee, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Atlanta, and many others.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
