About the role#
Roc Nation is looking for an intern to join the music publishing team for the Fall 2026 semester. This position offers an opportunity to learn about the creation, management, and monetization of songs and the creatives behind them. You will work in an office setting in Los Angeles for up to 30 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Handle song registration and file organization.
- Coordinate songwriter sessions and manage associated travel budgets.
- Research new talent and prepare weekly reports for the department.
- Assist with publishing company organization and meeting preparation.
- Build relationships with other internal departments and the publishing administrator.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student in Business Administration, Communications, or Media Studies, or recent graduation.
- Ability to work on-site in the Los Angeles office for the full semester.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Keynote, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time-sensitive tasks.
- Familiarity with social media platforms, specifically TikTok and Instagram.
- A strong interest in music trends and charting artists.
- A desire to learn new web-based software and technologies.

- Compensation: $20.25 per hour.
