About the role#
This is a 6-week paid training program for students interested in professional table games dealing. The program runs for 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 10AM to 3PM. Students who pass a final audition receive certification as professional dealers through CCAC. Upon completion, graduates may be offered part-time positions with potential for full-time work as they learn additional games.
What you'll do#
- Attend all training sessions at CCAC Community College and Rivers Casino.
- Learn to deal games while following company policies and gaming regulations.
- Manage currency exchanges and bets according to house rules.
- Resolve disputes or gameplay issues as they arise.
- Provide positive service to guests.
What you'll need#
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Pennsylvania Gaming License.
- Clear communication in English with trainers and peers.
- Strong guest service and teamwork skills.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- A well-groomed appearance.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, perform manual tasks like handling cards and chips, and reach or bend as needed.
