About the role#

This paid, 7-week Dealer School training program provides the fundamentals of the casino industry. Students will attend sessions at CCAC Community College and Rivers Casino to gain the skills necessary to become a certified dealer. The program runs 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, beginning February 2nd. Upon successful completion of a final audition, students are certified by CCAC as professional dealers.

What you'll do#

• Attend all training sessions held at CCAC Community College and Rivers Casino.
• Develop proficiency in dealing games while adhering to company policies, procedures, and gaming regulations.
• Learn to resolve game-related disputes and issues.
• Master the exchange of currency and the accurate management of bets according to house rules.
• Maintain a positive approach to guest service.

What you'll need#

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a PA Gaming License.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong guest service and communication skills, including effective English communication.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with classmates and work as part of a team.
• Ability to meet physical requirements, including prolonged standing, bending, reaching, and manual dexterity for handling cards and chips.
• Pursuing or holding a background in Business Administration, Communications, or Psychology is preferred.
