Table Games Student

About the role#

This is a 7-week paid training program designed to teach the fundamentals of the casino industry. Students who successfully pass a final audition will be certified by CCAC as professional dealers. The program runs Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, totaling 20 hours per week.

What you'll do#

• Attend all training sessions held at CCAC Community College and Rivers Casino.
• Develop skills in dealing games while adhering to company policies, procedures, and gaming regulations.
• Learn to handle and resolve disputes or issues during gameplay.
• Gain expertise in exchanging currency and managing bets according to house rules.
• Provide guest service with a positive approach.

What you'll need#

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Pennsylvania Gaming License.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Maintain a well-groomed appearance.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and perform tasks involving bending, stretching, and reaching.
• Manual and digital dexterity for handling cards, gaming chips, and small objects.

• Compensation: $10 per hour.
