Intern Marketing

About the role#

This internship provides hands-on experience within a professional department at Rivers Casino Des Plaines. Placements are determined by aligning your skills, interests, and background with the current needs of the organization. You will receive training in departmental operations and work alongside experienced team members to learn the policies, procedures, and best practices required for success in the industry.

What you'll do#

• Perform daily duties within your assigned department.
• Act as a customer service representative by addressing guest concerns and complaints in a professional, timely manner.
• Observe shift managers and team members during guest interactions to understand operational processes and management perspectives.
• Maintain the confidentiality of all guest, employee, and company information.
• Ensure compliance with all internal controls and state and federal gaming regulations.

What you'll need#

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Pursuing a degree in Marketing or Business Administration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary professional licensing.
