China Affairs & Strategy Intern

About the role#

The China Affairs & Strategy department at Richemont serves as an intelligence desk and operational support hub for the group’s various Maisons. This intern role focuses on providing strategic insights and business support to facilitate relations between Richemont, its Maisons, and Chinese organizations. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Bellevue, Washington.

What you'll do#

• Assist the team in providing analytical insights regarding the macro-economy and consumer market.
• Monitor domestic and overseas markets for information concerning Chinese travelers and local Chinese communities.
• Prepare accurate, comprehensive presentation materials to deliver research findings.
• Support the planning, execution, and follow-up of department business operation projects.
• Assist in maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing business partners and Richemont Maisons.
• Identify and explore prospective business partners and clients for the Maisons.

What you'll need#

• 1-2 years of work experience in project management, market research, or business development.
• A strong background in macro/micro-economy, geopolitics, and the luxury industry.
• Impeccable analytical skills for both editorial and research purposes.
• Fluency in English and Chinese is mandatory; fluency in French is considered a plus.
• Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Economics, or International Relations.
• Prior experience in the luxury sector or businesses facing high-net-worth audiences is a plus.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and manage complex interpersonal dynamics.
