About the role#
The China Affairs & Strategy department provides strategic insight and operational support to Richemont and its Maisons. This role focuses on delivering market intelligence and supporting business operations related to Chinese organizations and partners. This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in Bellevue, Washington.
What you'll do#
- Assist the team in providing analytical insights on the macro-economy and consumer market.
- Monitor Chinese domestic and overseas markets for information regarding Chinese travelers and local communities.
- Prepare presentation materials to deliver research insights clearly and effectively.
- Support the planning, execution, and follow-up of departmental business operation projects.
- Help identify prospective business partners and maintain relationships with existing partners and Richemont Maisons.
What you'll need#
- Current student status with a convention de stage.
- 1-2 years of work experience in project management, market research, or business development.
- Strong knowledge of macro and micro-economics, geopolitics, and the luxury industry.
- Impeccable analytical skills for editorial and research tasks.
- Mandatory fluency in English and Chinese (fluency in French is a plus).
- Prior experience in the luxury sector or businesses serving high-net-worth audiences is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and navigate a changing environment.
