About the role#
Resource Innovations is looking for an Energy Engineering Intern to join the team in Toronto. This role supports the evaluation of demand side management programs by analyzing impacts and recommending solutions. The position is a full-time, paid internship with terms available in Winter, Summer, and Fall 2027.
What you'll do#
- Provide junior engineering and analysis support, including project research.
- Collect primary and secondary data and perform data analysis.
- Conduct evaluation, measurement, and verification activities for installed energy efficiency measures.
- Help draft technical reports and contribute to results and recommendations.
- Assist senior staff with the development of presentations.
- Handle other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current registration in a post-secondary STEAM or business program in Canada.
- Canadian citizenship, permanent residency, or refugee status, with legal authorization to work in the province.
- Consent to release placement information to Electricity Human Resources Canada and the Government of Canada.
- Interest in sustainability and the environment.
- Education or experience in energy efficiency.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong writing, communication, and computer skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
