About the role#
Keyera is accepting applications for the Summer 2027 Student Program in Calgary. These full-time, on-site roles offer students exposure to the energy sector across various corporate departments. The work term runs from May to August 2027.
What you'll do#
Students will support specific teams based on their placement:
- Human Resources: Provide administrative support, perform data entry, maintain records, and assist the Talent Acquisition team with resume screening and interview scheduling.
- Finance & Investor Relations: Support treasury functions, financial planning, and forecasting. Expert Excel and PowerPoint skills are required.
- Administrative Assistant: Assist Executive Assistants with scheduling, calendar management, and boardroom preparation.
- Supply Chain: Support the governance portfolio through data cleansing, report validation, document drafting, and process mapping.
- Corporate Development: Assist with transaction execution, project economics, and strategy. This involves financial analysis, modeling, and due diligence.
- Business Development: Monitor industry trends and regulations while assisting with data analysis in Excel and Power BI.
- Engineering: Conduct technical research, data analysis, and documentation to support engineering activities.
- Marketing: Update supply and demand models, track commodity prices, and research market trends to guide strategy.
- IT Desktop Support: Provide hardware and software support, manage incidents, and assist with workstation configurations.
- Digital, Data and Technology: Conduct technology research, test solutions, and document processes for emerging capabilities.
- Corporate Accounting: Assist with invoice processing and accounting analysis.
- Legal: Research legal matters, review commercial agreements, and draft policies or memoranda.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program with a return to studies in Fall 2027.
- Completion of at least one year of post-secondary education.
- Minimum age of 18.
- Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Commitment to safety rules and completion of all required training.
- Legal roles require completion of the first or second year of a three-year program at a Canadian Law School.
- Pre-employment testing or a satisfactory driver’s abstract may be required.
