About the role#
Republic Finance is seeking interns for our Branch Operations program. This internship offers hands-on experience in the daily functions of a branch and exposure to our broader organization. You will work alongside team members and leaders to gain real-world experience in consumer lending. The role is paid at $15.00 per hour and requires a minimum of 18-20 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Learn the Republic Way sales and customer service approach.
- Complete compliance training and become licensed for insurance products.
- Participate in an accelerated version of the Assistant Branch Manager Program.
- Assist with loan origination, processing, closings, and fundings.
- Allocate files for document preparation, audit closed files, and prepare files for funding.
- Shadow your Manager and Regional Vice President to understand career paths.
- Attend regional meetings or workshops.
- Work on branch operations continuous improvement projects.
- Learn about corporate roles that value branch experience, such as Audit, Compliance, and Training.
What you'll need#
- Current Junior or Senior status in college.
- Major in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- A reliable work ethic and an eagerness to learn.
- Ability to meet eligibility requirements for insurance licensing.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and meet standards for criminal and credit history.
