About the role#
Republic Finance is seeking a Branch Operations Intern to gain real-world experience in the financial services industry. This program provides hands-on training in branch operations, sales, and customer service. You will work alongside our team to learn the business, complete compliance training, and participate in leadership development. Our goal is to prepare you for a potential long-term career path with the company.
What you'll do#
- Learn the Republic Way sales and customer service approach.
- Complete an accelerated version of the Assistant Branch Manager Program.
- Assist with daily loan production, including origination, processing, closings, and fundings.
- Allocate files for document preparation and audit closed files.
- Become licensed to sell insurance products.
- Work on branch operations continuous improvement projects.
- Spend time with your Manager and Regional Vice President to understand their responsibilities and career paths.
- Attend regional meetings and workshops to learn about the broader organization and corporate roles.
What you'll need#
- Current Junior or Senior status in a Business, Finance, or related degree program.
- Ability to work at least 18 to 20 hours per week.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- A reliable, enthusiastic approach and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and meet standards for criminal and credit history.
- Eligibility to meet requirements for state insurance licensing.
