About the role#
The Financial Development Program (FDP) is a two-year rotational program designed to build a talent pool with exposure to multiple areas of the Finance organization. Associates complete four six-month rotations to develop financial analysis and leadership skills while gaining foundational knowledge of corporate treasury, corporate finance, accounting, investor functions, and mergers and acquisitions. This role is open exclusively to 2026 Regions interns.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to the formation of financial risk-management-style reporting and analysis.
- Research, prepare, and apply corporate accounting principles.
- Participate in forecasting revenue and expenses, and analyze financial results.
- Create pertinent reporting and ad hoc business and product analysis.
- Interact with middle and senior management across multiple bank business units.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor's or Master's degree with an emphasis in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3.2 overall GPA.
- Strong academic, technical, and business acumen skills.
- Critical thinking, leadership, and communication skills.
- Current authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
