About the role#
The Sales Intern program offers hands-on experience across our sales organization, including field sales, inside sales, customer service, and commercial excellence. You will participate in a structured program designed to build your understanding of our products, applications, and industry trends. This internship runs from June 2, 2027, through August 13, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Lead a sales-focused project that delivers measurable business value by defining objectives, performing research, and presenting final recommendations.
- Complete at least 40 hours of customer-facing engagements and observation.
- Conduct market research, perform territory and sales analyses, and execute account development activities.
- Support CRM management, opportunity tracking, quoting processes, and sales reporting.
- Assist with customer engagement, sales activities, and account growth initiatives.
- Complete product training, technical learning engagements, and professional development activities.
- Participate in networking and mentorship opportunities to build a professional contact list.
- Maintain a weekly reflection journal and complete self-assessments.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week during the internship.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Self-motivation and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to travel locally as required (up to 10%).
- Preferred: Familiarity with CRM tools, interest in industrial sales or business development, and demonstrated leadership in student or work activities.
