About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to work with Program Managers and the Director of Business Development at our Downers Grove site. You will focus on projects related to the aerospace market, supporting business growth and product development. This role is fully on-site and runs from June 2, 2027, through August 13, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support complex projects and the new product launch process for aerospace applications.
- Collaborate with commercial, manufacturing, technical, and quality teams to expand market presence.
- Track and report on project performance trends.
- Conduct SWOT analyses for specific product lines.
- Assist with strategic planning, customer relationship management, and value analysis.
- Support key business decisions and process improvements.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, electrical, or industrial engineering, or business administration.
- Ability to work approximately 40 hours per week.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Experience with CRM tools and leadership roles in student organizations or volunteer activities are preferred.
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
