About the role#
This Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op position applies industrial and manufacturing engineering principles to production processes. The goal is to maximize quality and productivity across labor, materials, and equipment. You will work in a team environment to support daily operations and long-term process improvements.
What you'll do#
- Provide shop floor support for daily problem solving.
- Identify and implement projects focused on productivity and cost reduction.
- Develop and maintain process documentation to support ISO 9000 certification.
- Create job work instructions for existing and incoming equipment.
- Communicate company goals, objectives, and philosophies to the workforce.
- Investigate, justify, and implement capital equipment needs.
- Participate in communication meetings and adhere to safety, ethics, and environmental compliance programs.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited technical school or college.
- Pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or Supply Chain Management.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Above average verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
