About the role#
As a Relationship Manager Intern in Commercial Accounts, you will gain hands-on experience in commercial banking by supporting a portfolio of business clients. You will provide tailored financial advice, balance risk management with client needs, and collaborate with internal specialists to deliver comprehensive business solutions. This role involves active client engagement, including on-site visits to better understand client operations and objectives.
What you'll do#
- Grow and deepen client relationships by delivering value-added financial advice.
- Proactively contact clients to gather insights, understand their changing circumstances, and ensure ongoing satisfaction.
- Plan and prioritize market activities to identify opportunities and facilitate introductions to internal partners.
- Manage risk by exercising due diligence in banking procedures and developing action plans for identified concerns.
- Champion digital enablement by advocating for mobile and online banking applications to help clients engage through their preferred channels.
What you'll need#
- University degree in commerce, business administration, or a related field.
- Experience in client relationship management and client service.
- Ability to perform needs-based discovery and develop solutions for day-to-day banking operations.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies, including digital banking, mobile applications, and web-based meeting tools.
- Knowledge of credit risk assessments, financial analysis, and commercial banking systems is considered an asset.
