Relationship Manager Intern, Business Market

About the role#

As a Relationship Manager Intern, you will act as an ambassador for the bank within the local business market. You will manage a portfolio of high-value small business clients, providing financial advice to help them start, manage, and grow their enterprises. This role involves proactive business development and collaboration with internal partners to deliver tailored financial solutions.

What you'll do#

• Acquire and deepen client relationships by delivering value-added financial advice.
• Proactively contact clients to gather insights, understand their changing needs, and ensure satisfaction.
• Plan and prioritize market activities to identify opportunities and facilitate introductions to internal specialists.
• Manage risk and exercise due diligence in all banking procedures, developing action plans to address potential concerns.
• Champion digital enablement by advocating for mobile and online applications to improve the client experience.
• Visit clients on-site to gain a thorough understanding of their business objectives and operations.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment or background in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
• Proven business development and client acquisition skills, including the ability to build and leverage a network of contacts.
• A track record in effective client relationship management.
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of a broad array of business and personal financial products and services.
