About the role#
As a Financial Advisor Intern, you will attract, nurture, and grow relationships with high-value personal and small business clients. You will provide proactive advice and collaborate with partners to help clients achieve their financial goals during key life events. You will serve as an expert advisor on everyday banking, investments, and credit.
What you'll do#
- Demonstrate empathy and kindness while understanding client circumstances, motivators, and concerns.
- Communicate effectively to uncover client needs, deliver client-centric advice, and resolve concerns.
- Provide professional education and advice on complex credit and investment solutions.
- Champion digital enablement by educating clients on self-serve options and digital interaction channels.
- Implement effective relationship-building strategies to accelerate client acquisition and retention.
- Collaborate with internal experts in financial planning, retirement, mortgages, and business banking.
What you'll need#
- Valid Mutual Funds accreditation.
- Completed Designated Financial Services Advisor (DFSA) designation.
- 2-3 years of proven sales experience in the financial services industry, specifically handling credit and investments.
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Digital literacy across a broad range of devices, including smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
