About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to apply client-focused advice and problem-solving skills to assist with everyday banking, credit, and investment needs. As an ambassador for the bank, you will contribute to meaningful client experiences by helping with digital banking, onboarding, and connecting clients with specialized services.
What you'll do#
- Proactively engage with clients in the branch and the community to uncover banking needs and identify referral opportunities.
- Focus on client education by leveraging technology to deliver services and retain business.
- Respond to client-initiated contact and assist with a full range of financial transactions.
- Engage clients in conversation to understand their individual needs.
- Proactively resolve and prevent client banking problems.
- Cultivate relationships with internal partners to maximize business opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Mutual Funds accreditation, such as the Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course.
- A goal-oriented mindset with a focus on client service.
- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills to build relationships.
- Digital literacy across various devices, including smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
- An eagerness to learn and a drive to succeed.
