Client Advisor Intern

About the role#

As a Client Advisor Intern, you will serve as an RBC Ambassador within the branch. This role focuses on putting clients first, identifying their individual financial needs, and supporting the branch's business goals. You will gain hands-on experience in a banking environment, with the potential to develop skills for future roles such as Account Manager or Banking Advisor.

What you'll do#

• Proactively engage with clients in the branch to provide an outstanding service experience.
• Focus on education and demonstration, leveraging technology to help clients embrace digital banking capabilities.
• Contribute to team results by identifying opportunities to offer advice, provide solutions, or introduce clients to appropriate partners.
• Take ownership of resolving and preventing client banking problems.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal partners to work as a unified team.
• Manage risks by adhering to compliance routines, processes, and controls during transactions.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a program related to Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
• A goal-oriented mindset with a demonstrated passion for prioritizing client needs.
• Strong drive, self-motivation, and excellent communication skills.
• Digital literacy across a broad range of devices, including smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
• An eagerness to learn, determination to succeed, and the ability to grasp financial concepts.
• Willingness to work flexible hours.
