About the role#
This position focuses on client-centered service and problem-solving within the banking sector. You will act as an ambassador for the company, assisting clients with their everyday banking needs and collaborating with partners to help clients reach their financial goals. This is a part-time, paid internship role.
What you'll do#
- Proactively engage with clients in the branch and the community to identify banking needs and provide advice.
- Focus on client education and demonstration, using technology to improve the client experience and retain business.
- Respond to client-initiated contact and assist with a full range of financial transactions.
- Listen to clients to understand their individual needs and take ownership of resolving banking problems.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with partners to identify business opportunities and referrals.
What you'll need#
- A demonstrated passion for prioritizing client needs and success in a target-driven environment.
- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills with the ability to build professional relationships.
- Digital literacy across various devices, including smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
- Flexibility, an eagerness to learn, and strong personal ethics.
- Pursuing or holding a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or Economics.
- Mutual Funds accreditation, such as Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course, is considered an asset.
