About the role#
As a Client Advisor Intern, you will act as an RBC Ambassador within the branch. You will focus on putting clients first, identifying individual needs, and providing solutions. This role is designed for those looking to build a career in banking, with the potential to transition into future roles such as an Account Manager or Banking Advisor.
What you'll do#
- Proactively engage with clients in the branch to deliver an outstanding service experience.
- Identify opportunities to provide advice, offer solutions, and enable digital tools for clients.
- Educate clients on technology and demonstrate how digital capabilities can enhance their banking experience.
- Contribute to team goals by spotting opportunities to offer advice or introduce clients to internal partners.
- Manage risks by adhering to compliance routines, processes, and controls to protect client and shareholder interests.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with partners to work as a unified team.
- Take ownership of resolving and preventing client banking issues.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a program related to Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Communications.
- Goal-oriented mindset with a demonstrated passion for prioritizing client needs.
- Excellent communication skills and high emotional intelligence.
- Strong digital literacy across various devices, including smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
- Eagerness to learn, self-motivation, and a determination to succeed.
- Confidence in your ability to learn financial concepts.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
