Client Advisor Intern

About the role#

This position focuses on client-centered service and problem-solving within a branch environment. You will serve as an ambassador for the bank, assisting clients with everyday banking needs, educating them on digital tools, and collaborating with partners to help clients reach their financial goals.

What you'll do#

• Proactively engage with clients in the branch and community to identify banking needs, provide advice, and uncover sales or referral opportunities.
• Focus on client education by demonstrating digital banking tools to enhance the client experience.
• Respond to client-initiated contact and assist with a full range of financial transactions.
• Take ownership of resolving and preventing client banking issues.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with internal partners to maximize business opportunities.

What you'll need#

• A demonstrated passion for prioritizing client needs and success in a hands-on, target-driven sales environment.
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
• Flexibility, an eagerness to learn, and a commitment to strong personal ethics.
• Digital literacy across various devices, including smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
• Ability to work all business hours.
• Preferred: A track record of building rapport in the financial or service industry and Mutual Funds accreditation (Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course).
