About the role#
As a Client Advisor Intern, you will serve as an ambassador for the branch. This role focuses on putting clients first, identifying their individual needs, and providing effective financial solutions. You will support new client acquisition and deepen existing relationships while gaining experience toward roles such as Account Manager or Banking Advisor.
What you'll do#
- Engage with clients in the branch to provide an outstanding service experience through transactions and advice.
- Identify opportunities to offer solutions, digital enablement, and partner introductions.
- Leverage technology to educate clients and deliver a memorable experience.
- Take ownership of resolving and preventing client banking problems.
- Cultivate relationships with partners to work as one team.
- Manage risks by adhering to compliance routines, processes, and controls to protect client and shareholder interests.
What you'll need#
- Demonstrated passion for putting clients first and a goal-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence.
- Digital literacy across a range of devices, including smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
- Eagerness to learn, self-motivation, and determination to succeed.
- Confidence in learning financial concepts and a willingness to obtain the Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Pursuing or holding a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
