Client Advisor Intern

About the role#

This is a temporary full-time Client Advisor Intern position based in Drayton Valley, Alberta. The role is scheduled for the Winter 2027 term, with the potential for part-time continuation following the internship period.

What you'll do#

• Proactively engage with clients in the branch and the community to identify banking needs and provide advice.
• Focus on client education and technology demonstrations to enhance the banking experience and support sales goals.
• Assist clients with a full range of financial transactions.
• Listen to and engage with clients to understand their individual financial goals.
• Take ownership of resolving and preventing client banking problems.
• Collaborate with internal partners to identify and refer business opportunities.

What you'll need#

• A demonstrated passion for prioritizing client needs.
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build professional relationships.
• Flexibility, a strong personal work ethic, and an eagerness to learn.
• Digital literacy across various devices, including smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
• Mutual Funds accreditation (such as Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course) is considered an asset.
• Currently pursuing studies in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
